KILOMETERS OF STORIES

The project is dedicated to iconic cars of the Soviet era. «Zhiguli», «Kopeyka», «Moskvich» — these vehicles journey between different people and across two time periods, from the Soviet era to modern reality.

It’s sometimes possible to identify the time reflected in the artworks only by the cars’ license plates. In each painting, the old car conveys its story to the viewer, one that repeats in countless variations and transforms into «kilometers of stories».

The project consists of 6 works on canvas and 8 works on paper.
