WHITE DREAM
2024
«White Dream» is a project about the fragility of memory and the boundaries of forgetting. Blurred images of the past are hidden beneath layers of white paint. The artist creates a sense of simultaneous presence and absence, immersing the viewer in a state of «almost-memory» — a trace without substance.
Each layer of paint becomes a ritual of forgetting, concealing childhood memories and visual images from 2000s media.
Printing on a banner, originally designed for bright visuals, turns into a paradox: the images gradually vanish, leaving only white emptiness.
